Day 1: WARSAW

Arrival in Warsaw. Transfer to a hotel.

Day 2: WARSAW

A sightseeing tour: the Old City, Krakowskie Przedmieście Street, the Jewish Historical Institute, Umschlagplatz, parts of Ghetto walls, the Ghetto Heroes Monument, Okopowa Street Jewish Cemetery, Nożyk Synagogue, connection of the small and large ghettos - the narrow passage at the intersection of Żelazna and Chłodna streets, the Pawiak prison, Museum of the History of Polish Jew. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 3: ŁÓDŹ

Transfer to Łódź. A sightseeing tour around the city: Wolf Reicher Synagogue, Piotrowska Street, The Survivors Park, the Decalogue Memorial in the Old-Town Park, Izrael Poznański Palace, Priest’s Mill district (Księży Młyn), Manufaktura centre, Palace of Karol W. Scheibler - Museum of Cinematography. Transfer to the hotel.

Day4: AUSCHWITZ – BIRKENAU – CRACOW

Trasfer to Oświęcim. A visit to the former German Nazi concentration camps Auschwitz and Birkenau. Transfer to Cracow. Walking tour around Kazimierz – Jewish district: Old Synagogue, Remuh Synagogue and the Old Jewish Cemetery, Wolnica Square and the City Hall, Oskar Schindler's Enamel Factory. Dinner in a one of the distinctive restaurants. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 5: CRACOW – WIELICZKA

A sightseeing tour around the city: the Main Square, the Cloth Hall, St. Mary’s Church, historic churches around the Old City, the Jagiellonian University, Collegium Maius, Wawel: the Royal Castle, the Wawel Cathedral, the Sigismund's Chapel, St. Leonard's Crypt. Transfer to Wieliczka. A visit to the Salt Mine - one of the most valuable monuments of culture in Poland. Way back to Cracow.

Day 6: PŁASZÓW

A visit to the former Nazi German labour and concentration camp in Płaszów. Way back to Cracow. Spare time. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 7: ZALIPIE – TARNÓW – BOBOWA – SANOK

Transfer to Zalipie: distinctive painted cottages. Visit to Tarnów: the Old City, the Town Hall, the Bimah – a part of the former synagogue, the Jewish Cemetery founded in 1583, Mikolajowski Family House. Transfer to Bobowa. A visit to the old Jewish cemetery that has interesting headstones and synagogue dated to 1778. Transfer to a hotel in Sanok.

Day 8: SANOK - ŁAŃCUT – ZAMOŚĆ

A visit to the Rural Architecture Museum of Sanok. Transfer to Łańcut. A sightseeing tour: the Castle - famous for its excellent interiors and extraordinarily interesting collection of horse-drawn carriages. Short visits to synagogues and Jewish cemeteries. Ride to Zamość. A walking tour in the city: renaissance buildings, Armenian houses, the synagogue, the Jewish cemetery, the fortifications and the rotunda. Overnight in a hotel.

Day 9: LUBLIN – MAJDANEK

Transfer to Lublin. Sightseeing tour: the Main Square, tenement houses, the Grodzka Gate, the Rybna Gate, the Lublin Castle, the Chapel of the Holy Trinity with its 14th century frescoes, the Union of Lublin Monument – Litewski Square (Plac Litewski). A visit to the State Museum at Majdanek – the former Nazi concentration camp.

Day 10: KAZIMIERZ DOLNY – WARSAW

Transfer to Kazimierz Dolny. Walking tour: the Celej House, the White House, tenement houses around the Main Square, the Castle, the Tower, The Three Crosses Hill, churches, granaries, a synagogue, Korzeniowy Dół Gorge – a picturesque loess gorge. Transfer to Warsaw. Dinner in a smart restaurant.

Day 11: WARSAW

Transfer to the airport. Departure.

CHOPIN'S
HERITAGE TOUR

Day 1: WARSAW

Arrival in Warsaw. (Three nights stay at a hotel).

Day 2: WARSAW

A sightseeing tour: Ostrogski Palace - the Fryderyk Chopin Museum at the Fryderyk Chopin Society in Warsaw that was established in the 1930s; the Chopin Salon, a part of the flat where the composer spent his last years before leaving Poland; the Church of the Holy Cross where Chopin’s heart is buried; Chopin’s Monument in Łazienki Park. In the evening, a walk along the streets of the Old City.

Day 3: SANNIKI - ŻELAZOWA WOLA

Transfer to Sanniki, to the palace of Chopin’s family, walk in the adjacent park. A visit to Żelazowa Wola, the birthplace of Chopin. Concert of his music inside the family home.

Day 4: WARSAW

Transfer to the airport. Departure.

Day 1: WARSAW

Arrival in Warsaw. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: WARSAW

A visit to the convent of the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy in  Żytnia Street. Walking tour around the Old City: the Royal Castle, the Market Square, Krakowskie Przedmieście Street, the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and of St. Joseph, the Church of the Holy Cross, the Presidential Palace (exterior view), the Saxon Garden, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Dinner at the Old City.

Day3: WARSAW-PŁOCK-ŁÓDŹ

A visit to the St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Żoliborz, the tomb of Blessed Jerzy Popiełuszko. Trasfer to Płock. A walking tour around the town: the Cathedral, the Castle of the Masovian Dukes, the convent in Stara Biała, Transfer to Głogowiec, a visit to St. Faustina’s family house. Trasfer to Świnice Winiarskie, visit to the church of her baptism. Trasfer to Łódź. Juliusz Słowacki Park, St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, St. Faustina Church. Accommodation in a hotel in Łódź.

Day 4 : CZĘSTOCHOWA - AUSCHWITZ

Transfer to Częstochowa. Visit to the Jasna Góra Monastery: the Chapel of the Miraculous Painting of Our Lady, the Basilica of Jasna Góra, The Knight's Hall, the 600th Year Anniversary of Jasna Gora Museum, the St. Roch Bastion, the Treasury. Trasfer to Oświęcim. A visit to the former German Nazi concentration camps Auschwitz and Birkenau. Transfer to a hotel in Cracow.

Day 5: CRACOW – ŁAGIEWNIKI

A walking tour around the city: the Main Square, the Cloth Hall, St. Mary’s Church, historic churches around the Old City, the Jagiellonian University, Collegium Maius, Wawel: the Royal Castle, the Wawel Cathedral, the Sigismund's Chapel, St. Leonard's Crypt. Trasfer to Łagiewniki. A visit to the Divine Mercy Sanctuary in Kraków, the holy mass. Way back to hotel in Cracow.

Day 6: CRACOW

Departure from Cracow.

FOLLOWING THE TRACKS OF ST. JOHN PAUL II
- THE POLE POPE

Day 1: CRACOW

Arrival. An overnight stay in a hotel in Cracow.

Day 2: KRAKÓW

A full-day tour of Cracow with particular emphasis on the traces of the Pope’s activity: Palace of the Kraków Bishops, Franciscans’ Basilica, Wawel Cathedral, houses in which the Pope lived, St. Florian’s Basilica, Sanctuary in Łagiewniki, Church in Nowa Huta, and the most important antiques at the Market Square with special attention paid to St. Mary’s Church. A walk in the former Jewish district in Kazimierz.

Day 3: NIEGOWIĆ-KALWARIA ZEBRZYDOWSKA-WADOWICE

A full-day trip out of Cracow to: the village of Niegowić - the first parish in which Rev. Karol Wojtyła started his pastoral service, later in Kalwaria Zebrzydowska a visit to the Sanctuary of Our Lady. In the afternoon a visit to the Pope’s home town - Wadowice: a visit to the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Basilica and the home of the Holy father, Museum.

Day 4: LUDŹMIERZ-ZAKOPANE

A trip to Podhale: in Ludźmierz the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Podhale, in Krzeptówki, Zakopane, the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima, constructed entirely out of wood as a votive offering after the attempt at the life of the Pope in St. Peter’s Square in Rome. A walk in Zakopane, buying souvenirs.

Day 5: OJCÓW NATIONAL PARK - CZĘSTOCHOWA

A trip via the Ojców National Park to Częstochowa - famous for the painting of Our Lady - the spiritual capital of the Polish Catholics.

Day 6: KRAKÓW

Return flight from Kraków.
